Beer Bread

beerbreadNothing says comfort food like bread warm from the oven. With four ingredients and less than an hour of time, you too can serve up a hot loaf.


  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 12-ounce bottle of beer
  • 1/4 cup butter


Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9×5 bread pan. Mix all three ingredients and pour into loaf pan. Bake 45 minutes; remove from oven. Drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter. Bake 10 minutes more. Serve warm.
