Fresh Mango Salsa

Summer is for dining al fresco and eating fresh produce. Recipes with five or fewer raw ingredients, like this zesty salsa, take you out of the hot kitchen and allow more time for porch or patio parties. Enjoy!


  • 1 mango, peeled, pitted, diced
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup packed, fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 serrano or jalapeno chile, minced (remove ribs and seeds for less heat, if desired)
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • coarse sea salt to taste


Mix and serve with baked tortilla chips or pita bread.
