Pop-Up Farmers Market Sunday

FarmersMktDSC_0401_12975DSC_0401Luckett Farms will headline the next Pop-Up Farmers Market Sunday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a spread of freshly picked squash, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, okra, and potatoes grown at its Pride and Central acreage. There will also be a book signing by author of “The Traveling Apron,” Aimee Broussard, a local who traded a career in corporate insurance to travel, blog, and publish. Broussard’s booth will include her “Kitchen Spirit” aprons, just in time for tailgate season. “We bring the ‘it’ in spirit,” she says.

In addition, GrinningJupiter Jammery will debut two new products (see story here). Other vendors include Old Soul Pickles, Hollywood Livestock, Cafeciteaux coffee roasters, Andi Lynn’s Elderberry Syrup, Momma Mia’s Authentic Italian Cookies, Red Stick Spice Co., Delightful Palate and Re: salad dressings, Jeaux’s Boys BBQ sauce, The Big Squeezy cold pressed juices, Most Delightful Foods snack mixes, Ruth’s Hummus, Delightful Palate salad dressings, and POPCulture Popsicles. Eden’s Natural Soaps, Petite Louisiane, Art by C, and Susan Rodrigue Pottery will round out the market.

FarmersMktDSC_0484_12908DSC_0484Hanley’s Foods will demo its products inside alongside other local vendors.
