Instead, stay close to home and get everything you need to deck the halls and really get into the Christmas spirit on Sunday, Nov. 29, from noon until 6 pm. On the first Sunday of Advent, Alexander’s will be transformed into your one-stop shop for Christmas preparations, including photos with Santa by Kleinpeter Photography, Christmas trees by Harb’s Oasis, and cooking demonstrations by Anne Milneck of Red Stick Spice Co., Lili Courtney of Delightful Palate, and Daniel Thompson of Fresina’s/D’Agostino’s Pasta.

In addition, we’ll enjoy Christmas in the Park with local authors, artists, and artisans signing and selling their unique gift creations. From watercolors to beeswax art, stationery to soap gift sets, cutting boards to perpetual calendars, we’ll have a variety of gifts from local vendors to help you complete your Christmas list. Market participants include Susan Rodrigue pottery, Terri Dakmak watercolors, Carolyn Rodrigue beeswax art, Southern Football T-shirts, Catherine Leake calendars and art, Sibley Designs, Kristine Stone Food Photography, Eden Natural Soaps, and Cypress Springs Mercedarian Gifts, among others.


Local food companies will also be on hand with samples and gift sets for the foodie on your list. Most Delightful Foods, Cake Jewels, Flambeaux Olives, Militello’s, Tres Bien Que, Hanley’s Foods, Andi Lynn’s Elderberry Syrup, Ivy’s Pride Tamales, Truly Scrumptious, and more.
